Jennifer Friend, Stacey K. Black – Singers, Songwriters, and Beer Sommeliers

It’s a music and beer packed episode of At The Hops this week as we have two (that’s right two!) superstar, musical guests.  Jennifer Friend has been hailed as one of Nashville’s best vocalists. Her blues infused tones will chill your bones (in a good way, of course), and she gives us an explosive, live performance of her original song “I’m Gone.”
Stacey K. Black has been with us before, and she’s not only a fantastic singer/songwriter who will knock you out with her live performance of “I Love You,” but an acclaimed filmmaker as well.  Her recent documentary Send My Mail To Nashville profiles several of Nashville’s best singer/songwriters, including Jennifer Friend.  Together, Stacey and Jennifer give us the lowdown on filming Send My Mail To Nashville with tales from behind the camera as well as in front.  Everybody loves the “behind the scenes” scoop, and nobody can tell a story quite like Stacey K. Black and Jennifer Friend.  You’ll love these two!
We also dive into our first adventure as “craft beer sommeliers,” and  try three craft beers in an attempt to distinguish the foremost flavor ingredient of each.  We go through beers both sweet and savory, and in the At The Hops tradition, we give our rating of each one as well.  So once again, get ready to hear about some great craft beer recommendations.

It’s 100% entertainment and 100% free, and it’s available now at ITunes
